Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...From this afternoon to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, low lying areas along the river in Riverview Park are threatened by high water and faster flows are expected. Use extra caution or avoid recreational activities near the river. Interests near the river should continue to monitor later forecasts. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 2.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0 feet Saturday morning. - Action stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The final form taken by a growing cumulus cloud is the
cumulonimbus cloud, which is very tall and dense.
The tower of a cumulonimbus cloud can soar 23 km into the atmosphere, although
most commonly they stop growing at an altitude of 6 km.
Even small cumulonimbus clouds appear very large in comparison to other cloud types.
They can signal the approach of stormy weather, such as thunderstorms or blizzards.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
